SADHANA
A Devotional Retreat for the Nervous System, the Spirit, and the Self
Riverside Canyon Retreat - Bellvue, Colorado - September 2025
A 5-day immersive retreat in Bellvue, Colorado—anchored in personal ritual, nature-based healing, and the power of community.

In our fast-paced and often overwhelming lives, it’s easy to lose touch with the natural rhythms that support our well-being. The constant demands of modern life can pull us away from the practices that keep us grounded—leading to imbalance in mind, body, and spirit. But when we return to rhythm—one that is intuitive and personal—we begin to remember what it feels like to live in alignment.
In India, this intentional rhythm is known as Sadhana—a Sanskrit word meaning “a dedicated spiritual practice.” It is not about achieving perfection or imitating someone else’s path. Instead, Sadhana is the steady, daily devotion to yourself. A ritual of showing up, listening in, and honoring what’s real.
Sadhana creates structure without rigidity, discipline without force. It invites you to meet yourself with compassion and consistency, creating a sense of safety in your body, steadiness in your mind, and spaciousness in your heart. It’s a lifelong conversation between your inner world and the outer one—a practice of remembering who you are, even amidst the noise.
This retreat is a return to that rhythm. Held in community and rooted in nature, it’s an invitation to reconnect with what’s already within you, and to let your practice become your anchor—intentional, intuitive, and wholly your own. We will explore Sadhana through a trauma-informed lens. That means honoring your personal capacity each day. It means learning to listen, rather than force. We offer a grounded, accessible approach to ritual that nurtures your nervous system, strengthens your intuition, and reweaves your connection to the natural world.
This is where ancient wisdom meets modern life. Through yoga, movement, breathwork, somatics, meditation, nature immersion, and ceremony, we’ll explore how to build a practice that supports:
-
Greater emotional regulation
-
Clarity and calm in decision-making
-
A deeper trust in your body
-
Creativity, courage, and connection
-
Belonging—in your life and within community
Your rituals don’t need to be fancy.
They just need to be yours.
Let the river cleanse what no longer serves.
Let the land hold what you’re not meant to carry alone.
Let your practice become your anchor—playful, sacred, and completely your own.

What to Expect
Each day is gently structured to support your inner rhythm. No pressure, no performance—just steady invitations to return to yourself.
-
Morning movement and meditation
-
Nourishing meals and riverside stillness
-
Midday offerings: Ayurvedic cooking class, self inquiry sessions, or nature-based ritual
-
Time for massage, napping, wandering, or doing nothing at all
